classic eyelash extensions

Classic lashes are one extension applied to one natural lash only, therefore if you only have 50 suitable natural lashes per eye, then you will only achieve a look of 50 eyelash extensions. This technique is use to enhance the length, curliness, fullness, and the thickness of natural eyelashes. Every set is customizable.

VOLUME eyelash extensionS

Volume lashes are two to four extensions applied to one natural lash. This technique is used to give you extra fullness if you have sparse lashes. This is up to a 4:1 ratio. Quite a difference! Every set is customizable.

The Lash Styling

Lash Styling
Lashes have the power to frame your eyes. Achieve 6 different looks at Brow & Lashberry, only with eyelash extensions. Everyone has different eye shapes and sizes which play a big part when it comes to designing eyelash extensions plan. I work with individual eye shape and bone structure to give the most pleasingly shaped lash set that will be unique to each person. The extensions are applied to each single eyelash, designed specifically to suit the clients needs. A varied selection of curl, weight and length are chosen from my extensive collection, to create different eyelashes style.

The average person has 80-120 natural lashes per eye. Each eye can shed between 2-3 lashes per day.

1 Week = 21 Lashes
2 Weeks = 42 Lashes
3 Weeks = 63 Lashes

Lash fills should be done every 2-3 weeks to keep your lashes looking FULL & BEAUTIFUL.

To Avoid

  • Skin irritation/ blepharitis : Allergic reaction to the lash adhesive, eye pads and medical tape is very rare, But it can occur.
  • Traction alopecia (form of gradual hair loss) : Inappropriate size lashes will cause stress on the natural lash, causing it to shed prematurely.

Aftercare

Aftercare

Very Important

Please read and follow the  after-care instructions to maintain the health and look of your eyelash extensions

It takes up to 24 hours for the eyelash extension’s adhesive to fully cure. Therefore, if any of the aftercare instructions are not followed, it can be damaging for the bond between the natural and the lash extensions, resulting in premature partial loss of your eyelash extension.

For the Next 24 hours DO NOT:
  • Wet your eyelashes extensions.
  • Picking, pulling, or rubbing your lash extension.
  • Use mascara, sunscreen, bug spray, oil based products or oil based removers around the eyes ( Oil breaks down the adhesive bond). Use only water based make-up eye area.

After 24 hours have passed follow the instruction below:
  • Wash daily, it is important to clean your lashes thoroughly with a drop of baby shampoo/ or face washes mixed with water. A build up of dust or make-up and natural skin oil on the lash line will affects the durability of eyelash adhesive and could also lead to potential skin problems around your eyes.

During 4 weeks DO NOT:
  • Worry if you see 2 or 3 eyelashes have fallen out. We normally loose 1-3 natural lashes every day without noticing.
  • Curl or trim your eyelash extensions.
  • Use mascara (Mascara should never be worn – Not only does it ruin the eyelash extensions but it is impossible to remove all traces of it. Mascara attracts bacteria which can lead to blepharitis).
  • Tug or pull your lash extensions as the cause damage to your natural eyelashes.
  • Sleep on your face or your side or stomach position may damage your eyelash extension if your lashes get in contact with your pillow. Sleeping on your back is the best position.
  • Expose at extreme heat such as sauna.

How to clean your lashes:
  • Splash your eyes with warm water. Using your fingers, gently massage your cleansing product along the lash line and eyelashes, then splash your eyes until all the soap is rinsed away.
  • Dry with a paper based (avoid cotton pads or swabs that will leave lint and catch on your extensions) and let your lashes air dry for a couple of minutes.
  • Once it is dry completely, use a disposable mascara wand to gently separate your extensions.

When coming for your refill appointment ensure your eyelashes are clean and free of mascara and make-up. It is not possible for me to give your eyelashes a thorough cleanse and any residue will prevent proper bonding between your natural lashes and extensions causing your extensions to come off.

To maintain the perfect shape of eyelash extensions we recommend after 2-3 refills to remove all the extensions and apply a new full set. Schedule your refill appointment every 2-3 weeks to keep them perfectly fluffy.
